{ Arthur's POV } Have you ever been stuck on a beach? Good. It was a horrible thing. I was hungry, and a long way from home. If only I had remember how I ended up on this deserted beach, I would find my way back. I had a terrible headache, and my stomach growling, I was about ready to chew one of my arms off. My legs were going numb. Never had I felt such fatigue before. I don't know how much I've walked all this way, just to get into a dead end. I wish to die right now, but I can't. Even without my immortality, this isn't a way I would imagine myself to die. Weak, hungry and alone. How pathetic, but I knew I was stuck forever, my misery would continue. The sun was slowly dripping down the horizon, it's light now giving off an orange-red shine. It was such a beautiful sunset, the way the sun had shared its brilliant shades with the ocean, the ocean gently hitting the sand. Besides all the horrible things on a deserted island, but there are just a few good things that should be noticed. The moon was rising, the sky fell into darkness, and the stars appeared one by one. The temperature made a drastic change, it was cold, oh so very cold. The wind blew strong, the sounds of the palm trees that danced along with the breeze, and the waves washing up on shore. It was quite pleasing to the ear. Maybe it wasn't so bad, besides, I hadn't gotten up to look for any food, and I've been doing nothing since I got to the beach. I should have enough energy to find something edible. But I didn't want to leave the scenery, even if there are things in my mind telling me that I'm ruining it with my presence. I sighed of deep relief, and looked out to the ocean, it glimmered, the moon light enhancing it's looks by a half. I just wanted to take a dip, just one, just to let my worries go and step in. And so I did, I scuttled over to the ocean, only to let my feet get brushed with the wave that hit the shore just to return. But I decided to walk in, even more. The water felt nice and cool, it made me shiver. I casually dug my hands into my pocket, whistling the national anthem. This was it, the day I live care free. I looked out, it was just space that got darker and darker the more far it was. But that wasn't the only thing that caught my eye, it wasn't too far, but it was a figure, a HUMAN figure, it seemed to have been a woman by the curves on her from waist line up. "Hello?" I called out. By just a shake of her head, the woman sank underwater, I didn't know where she go. Maybe it was a figment of my imagination. I turned around to leave the water, but I heard the water strongly SWISH behind me. I turned just to see, something far more beautiful than the water. It was a woman, a woman of (e/c) eyes that were full of curiosity, and (h/c) hair that seemed to be in perfect tact with the wind. I didn't know what to say, so I let her do the rest. Here eyes darted around my body, as if I were some type of new species. She touched my legs, and looked down at herself. "I'm sorry, love." I smiled, "But I have to get out this water." She shook her head, not letting a word escape her lips. I got out the water, only for her to crawl behind me, when I was completely on sand. She had been also, as soon as I saw her, I knew why she had seemed so curious. Why she didn't understand. Her legs... They were fins, beautifully scaled with different and lively colors. She looked at me, signaling to come. "Ah- Ah." Was the only thing that came out her mouth, she didn't seem to have the ability to speak. I slowly spoke to her, uttering the words. "Hello I am Arthur." I doubt she'd understand me. She tilted her head and held herself high up with her hands. "Heeellloooo? I ah Ardur."  She mimicked me, it's like hearing a baby speak for the first time. I crept in closer to her and maybe try to give her a name. "Hello, my name is _____" She tilted her head the other way, this time, she took a while to respond. "Hallo. mei name is ____" She said it! I wanted to teach her more, more about how to speak and how I act differently than her, but it was hard, her natural habitat was water. Before I rolled my way back to where I planned to speak, I heard her whisper. "Ardur. Ardhur. Artder." She had been practicing my name, when I glanced back at her, I wondered if Arthur had stuck in her head. So before I went to sleep I told her, "Hello, my name is Arthur." She looked around, this time she didn't seem confused she immediately responded and said. "Hello, name ees _____." She knew her given name, so why was she trying so hard to know mine? to be continued
    I.

I think this is my last one for today.
Besides my America idea, this one has been there for a while. So it was either make one a one shot and the other a series. And I decided that this might be the one shot.
    But if it's popular I guess I can continue it. v u v
